PM Modi meets Kuwaiti nationals who translated Ramayana and Mahabharata into Arabic


Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday met two Kuwaiti nationals, Abdullah Al-Baroon and Abdul Latif Al-Nassaf, and lauded their efforts in bringing Indian epics to the Arab world. Al-Baroon translated the Ramayana and Mahabharata into Arabic, while Al-Nassaf oversaw their publication.  


During the meeting, the Prime Minister signed copies of the Arabic translations and expressed gratitude for their contributions. Modi stated, "I commend the efforts of Abdullah Al-Baroon and Abdul Latif Al-Nassaf for their remarkable work in translating and publishing the Ramayana and Mahabharata. This initiative underscores the universal appeal of Indian culture."  




The project has provided Arabic-speaking audiences an opportunity to connect with India's rich cultural heritage, further promoting cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.
